Apex Legends 'Marked' Ultimate Battle Pass Split 1 — 9/15 Deadline Completion Roadmap

Apex Legends 'Marked' Ultimate Battle Pass Split 1 closes 2026-09-15 at 10:00 AM PT. Full 60-level reward walk (1,200 Crafting Metals + 8 Apex Packs instant rewards; 2 Legendary character skins for Bloodhound and Caustic; R-301 Reactive; 1,300 Apex Coins), 14-day grind plan from 2026-09-01, and why this deadline binds even if you also play Valorant's Season 2026 // Act 5 Battle Pass.

Freshness Season 30 'Marked' runs ~2026-08-04 → ~2026-11-03. Split 1 of the Ultimate Battle Pass closes 2026-09-15 at 10:00 AM PT. Split 2 will run roughly 9/15 → end of season.

TL;DR

  • Apex Legends ‘Marked’ Ultimate Battle Pass Split 1 closes 2026-09-15 at 10:00 AM PT. Hard deadline, no extension.
  • Cost: USD $9.99 / 1,000 Apex Coins.
  • 60 levels of rewards: 2 Legendary character skins (Bloodhound at 25, Caustic at 50), Mozambique Legendary at 35, R-301 Reactive at 40, 1,300 Apex Coins, 1,200 Crafting Metals, 10 Exotic Shards.
  • Instant rewards on purchase: 1,200 Crafting Metals + 8 Apex Packs (1 Legendary / 2 Epic / 5 Rare).
  • 14-day grind from 2026-09-01 is doable at casual pace. Do 3-4 matches a day, clear daily + weekly challenges, pop the first-win-of-the-day bonus.
  • Cross-game: if you also play Valorant, sequence Apex first through 9/15, then Valorant Act 5 from 9/15 → 10/14.

Valorant's Season 2026 // Act 5 Battle Pass runs ~2026-08-18 → ~2026-10-14 — six more weeks than Apex's 9/15 close. Our companion guide — Valorant Season 2026 // Act 5 Battle Pass — Verdant / Gourmand / Last Stop Skin Tier Walk — has the full 55-tier reward list, the Aeris Collection cross-game Easter egg, and the Valorant grinding math. Pair the two: Apex through 9/15, Valorant from 9/15 → 10/14.

Why 2026-09-15 is the binding deadline

Apex Legends Battle Passes have never been extended. This is a deliberate Respawn / EA design choice — the Battle Pass is a time-limited engagement loop, and reissuing or extending it would erode the urgency that drives purchases. The consequence: anything you want from Split 1 of the Marked Ultimate Battle Pass must be unlocked by 2026-09-15, 10:00 AM PT.

What you lose if you miss the deadline:

  • All unlocked BP XP resets. The progress bar is per-Act.
  • The Legendary character skins (Bloodhound at 25, Caustic at 50) become unobtainable. They will not appear in the Heirloom shop, the regular store, or future Prime Gaming drops.
  • The R-301 Reactive at level 40 becomes unobtainable. Reactive skins are tier-3 rarities in Apex’s cosmetic economy.
  • The Mozambique Legendary at level 35 becomes unobtainable.
  • The 1,300 Apex Coins earned across the level unlocks are forfeit.
  • The 10 Exotic Shards at level 60 are forfeit.

What you keep if you already unlocked it:

  • Any reward already in your inventory (skins, coins, metals, shards, packs) stays on your account forever.

The fix is simple: finish the pass before 9/15. If you cannot finish the grind, buy tier boosts with Apex Coins. If you have no Apex Coins banked, the instant reward bundle on its own (8 packs + 1,200 metals) is worth the $9.99 even if you never finish a single level.

Instant rewards — what you get the moment you buy

The instant reward bundle lands in your inventory the second your Apex Coins clear. These rewards do not require any BP XP grinding.

RewardQuantityApprox value
Apex Packs (Legendary)1Guaranteed Legendary drop (skin, banner, or Heirloom Shard)
Apex Packs (Epic)2Guaranteed Epic drop each, chance of Legendary upgrade
Apex Packs (Rare)5Guaranteed Rare drop each
Crafting Metals1,200Enough to craft one Legendary skin (~1,200 metals per Legendary craft in S30)

The Legendary pack has a ~0.2% chance (1 in 500) of being a Heirloom Shard — every Apex Pack since S26 (August 2025) has carried Heirloom Shard odds published in the drop-rate disclosure. If you hit a Heirloom Shard on the instant pack, that is a ~USD $150+ value on its own.

The Epic packs have a base Epic drop with a small chance of Legendary upgrade. The Rare packs are filler but still contain quips, banners, or crafting metals.

The 60-level reward walk

The full Marked Split 1 reward list, as published in Respawn’s 2026-08-04 patch blog and confirmed by apexlegendsstatus.com trackers. Levels marked [Notable] are the standout rewards.

Intermediate levels (2-4, 6-9, 11-14, etc.) contain a mix of Rare / Epic weapon skins, banner poses, quips, and Apex Coins payouts. The standout rewards are at the levels listed above; the filler is mostly fine but not the reason to buy the pass.

The two Legendary character skins

SkinCharacterWhy it matters
Bloodhound Legendary (Level 25)BloodhoundBloodhound is S-tier Recon in S30 ‘Marked’ post-rework (new stealth Ultimate “Allfather’s Blessing”). You will use this skin in ranked — it is not a collector piece.
Caustic Legendary (Level 50)CausticCaustic is S-tier Controller in S30. The skin has a unique Nox gas visual effect that recolors his traps — one of the few pass skins with a gameplay-affecting cosmetic.

Both skins are exclusive to Marked Split 1 — they will not be reissued. Respawn’s policy since the launch of Apex is that Battle Pass Legendary character skins never return.

The R-301 Reactive (Level 40)

The R-301 Reactive is the most-asked-about skin in the pass. Reactive skins evolve visually as you get kills. The Marked R-301 Reactive uses a kill-based optic glow progression:

Kill countOptic colorEffect
0 killsBlueDefault
5 killsAmberTier 1 evolution
10 killsRedTier 2 evolution
20+ killsAnimated (red-to-gold pulse)Tier 3 evolution, persists until death

The tier 3 evolution is the visual flex — most players will not see it in a single match. The R-301 Reactive is the first R-301 reactive since the game’s launch (previous reactives were for the Flatline, Havoc, Sentinel, and others), which makes it a collector piece on top of being a gameplay cosmetic.

The Mozambique Legendary (Level 35)

The Mozambique Legendary is the third Legendary Mozambique skin in Apex history. Mozambique is a meme weapon — most players swap it off drop — but the Legendary skin has a unique equip animation that has made it a meme-favorite for streamers. If you main the Mozambique (some do, mostly in lower-ranked lobbies), this is a flex pick. If you don’t, it sits in your locker as a collector piece.

Exotic Shards (Level 60)

The 10 Exotic Shards at level 60 let you craft one Exotic-tier weapon or item at the in-game crafter. Most Exotics cost 10-15 shards, so 10 is enough for the cheaper end of the rotation. The crafter’s weekly rotation changes every Monday — check it before you craft.

Grinding math — 14 days from 2026-09-01

You have 14 days to finish the pass. Apex’s BP XP economy in S30:

ActivityAvg BP XPTime
First win of the day~1,500 BP XPOne match
Trios match (casual)~4,500-6,000 BP XP~25 min
Trios match (ranked)~5,000-7,000 BP XP~30 min
Duos match~3,000-4,000 BP XP~20 min
Daily challenge~3,000 BP XPVaries
Weekly challenge~10,000 BP XPVaries

60 levels at ~1,500 BP XP per level = ~90,000 BP XP total. A casual player doing 3-4 matches a day plus challenges will average ~25,000 BP XP per day, finishing the pass in ~3.5 days of play — but you have to actually log in every day for the daily challenge reset and the first win bonus.

The realistic plan:

DateGoalBP XP cumulative
2026-09-01 (Day 1)Buy the pass + 4 matches~25,000
2026-09-02 (Day 2)4 matches + weekly~50,000
2026-09-03 (Day 3)4 matches + daily~75,000
2026-09-04 (Day 4)Finish at ~95,000 XP (level 60+)60+

That is the optimistic plan. The conservative plan:

DateGoalBP XP cumulative
2026-09-01 (Day 1)Buy the pass + 2 matches~15,000
2026-09-02 → 09-08 (7 days)2 matches per day~75,000
2026-09-09 → 09-14 (6 days)3 matches per day + challenges~95,000+

Either plan finishes with a buffer before the 9/15 10:00 AM PT deadline.

If you fall behind — buying tier boosts

Apex sells BP tier boosts in the in-game store for Apex Coins:

BoostApex CoinsLevels gained
+10 tiers~15010
+25 tiers~37525
+60 tiers (full)~900All 60

If you are 30+ levels behind on 2026-09-12 and you have Apex Coins banked, the 25-tier or full-pass boost is the cleanest fallback. The boost is paid in Apex Coins only — no real-money shortcut beyond buying Apex Coins themselves.

If you have no Apex Coins and no real-money budget, the only option is to grind more. Switch to long Premier sessions (~7,000 BP XP per match) and stack the BP XP boost consumable from the store if you can spare the Coins.

Things this Battle Pass does not include

  • No Legend skins beyond the two Legendary — the 58 filler rewards are mostly banners, quips, weapon skins (Rare / Epic), and Apex Coins payouts.
  • No heirloom — Apex’s Heirloom Shards come from Apex Packs, not from the Battle Pass. The instant Legendary Apex Pack has a ~0.2% Heirloom Shard chance, which is your only BP-related Heirloom pull.
  • No craftable Mythics — Mythics (e.g. the recent Bloodhound Heirloom Mythic) are bought from the Mythic shop with Mythic Shards, separate from the Battle Pass.
  • No premium currency packs beyond the Apex Coins / Crafting Metals listed above — there is no “buy the pass, get 5,000 Apex Coins” path. The 1,300 Apex Coins across the 60 levels is the total currency payout.

If you main Bloodhound or Caustic in S30

Two quick play-specific notes:

  • Bloodhound mains: the new stealth Ultimate “Allfather’s Blessing” (12-second squad stealth + 25% damage bonus) makes Bloodhound S-tier Recon. Pair the Marked BP skin with Allfather’s Blessing for one of the most satisfying stealth-flank visuals in the game. See our full Bloodhound kit breakdown in the Season 30 tier list.
  • Caustic mains: Caustic is S-tier Controller in S30. The Marked BP skin recolors his Nox gas traps with a unique visual effect — useful for muscle-memory trap placement and for flexing in low-ranked lobbies. See our Controller tier list in the Season 30 tier list.
