Dark Souls 3
FromSoftware's 2016 action RPG and the final entry in the Dark Souls trilogy. Stamina-based combat, interconnected level design, bonfire checkpoints, and boss fights that teach through repetition. Still the most recommended entry point into the Souls series, and the one with the healthiest 2026 online population.

Behaviour Interactive's asymmetric multiplayer horror game. One player takes the role of a Killer while four others play Survivors trying to repair generators and escape. Each Killer and Survivor has a unique perk and power loadout.
Diablo 4
Blizzard's isometric action RPG and the fourth mainline entry in the Diablo series. Players pick a class, clear seasonal story content, grind endgame dungeons, and chase rare loot across a shared open world. Free-to-play with optional paid expansions.
EA Sports College Football 27
EA Sports' 2026 edition of the revived college football series. Released 2026-07-09 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S ($69.99). IGN 7/10. After the #CFBPlayDontPay community protest, EA removed all paid upgrade options from Dynasty and Road to Glory modes on 2026-07-11. Dynasty and Road to Glory both saw major data-management improvements in this entry.
Final Fantasy XIV
Square Enix's story-driven MMORPG and the second MMO in the Final Fantasy series. Players create a character, switch between dozens of combat and crafting Jobs, and progress through a multi-expansion main story plus raid-tier endgame content. Subscription-based.

Palworld
Pocketpair's open-world survival game with creature-collection mechanics.
